Die to quietness

It is definately difficult.

There was a certain day that i needed some peace and quietness but there was a big group of friends with me and they were all high and joking. So I choosed to keep quiet for a little while, have my little own space, then one would come up to me and ask me "why are you so quiet". Then I'll have to try joke and play around with them.

Do you experience times where you just have lots of thoughts and really need time to be alone but you can't?
Or you find that you wanna be quiet and yet you have to get your lazy brain to think of topics to talk about?
Have you ever rather that the person next to you is talking forever and you need no bulge at all?

Unfortunely you cant just be quiet when you want, you have to cater to the group.
It's hard.
Unless you are out only with your best friend? Then perhaps she/he would understand that one do not have to talk all the time.
